Orion Communities
Orion Communities is a Phoenixville nonprofit assisting neighbors in financial distress, experiencing homelessness, or facing difficult life challenges, operating from 237 Bridge Street. Volunteers support its STARs youth program (book club, mentoring, tutoring, STEM), office operations, community outreach, and fundraising events.

STARs Book Club Leader
Share the love of reading and inspire young minds through fun, engaging book discussions in Orion's STARs youth program.
STARs Youth Mentor
Provide guidance and support to youth in the STARs program, helping them build confidence and reach their goals.
STARs Tutor
Assist students with academic challenges, empowering them to succeed in school.
STARs STEM Club Volunteer
Spark curiosity in science, technology, engineering, and math through hands-on activities with youth.
Office Assistant
Help organize supplies and assist with mailings to keep Orion's resource-center operations running efficiently.
Community Outreach & Events Volunteer
Represent Orion at community events to spread the word about its work, or help run recurring fundraisers including Casino Royale, Putting out of Poverty, and Music for Everyone. Special-projects volunteers with event-planning or tech skills are also welcome.
